Bucking the cutesy B&B scene in the Catskills, The Roxbury is a dash of big-city flash in the country. Formerly a fleabag motor lodge, it was snapped up by two New York City theater expats, who promptly redid the property in vivid colors and ’60s-mod-meets-21st-century style. All 11 rooms have high-speed Internet, fridges, microwaves and DVD players. BONUS: The front desk stocks more than 300 flicks, including the American Film Institute’s top 100 movies of all time.
