The owners behind the exciting new gourmet food truck are getting it all right. Quality meets technology. Check with us for when the truck is parked right in town or just go to their website to find out where the truck might be showing up on any given day. Oh and did we mention that you can also pay and order online? And don’t let the ‘food truck’ concept fool you into thinking they’re limited to Chevy-van size quantities. Contact them for all sorts of catering from private dinner parties to large weddings. Ask for their bit-size reuben fritters. They’re like heaven wrapped up in a little ball with a kabangie wowie zowie!

- Brushland Eating House :: Email Website
County Highway 6, Bovina Center, NY 13740
Phone: (607) 832-4861
Consistent raves from our guests, this restaurant was founded on the idea that the house that provides the food should be as comforting as the dishes served inside of it. The food needn’t be complicated, either. Brushland revisits the classics, the kinds of dishes that remain scribbled on recipe cards despite having seen centuries worth of culinary evolution. Dishes that will likely conjure memories of relatives or childhood, that favorite cast iron pan or the smell of a warm, bustling kitchen.
- Bull and Garland :: Email Website
760 Main Street, Hobart, NY 13788
Phone: (607) 538-3006
Boasting a chef trained in the pubs of London, this cozy hideaway not only knows how to do classic English pub fare with flair, it’s also a lovely drive to get there. Sit by the fire in the winter and you might as well be in Essex. Think low ceilings and hand hewn post and beams. The Scottish Egg and Fish and chips with a Black and Tan are a must. Ask us about the best directions.
- La Cabana Mexican Restaurant
966 Main Street, Fleischmanns, NY 12430
Phone: (845) 254-4966
If you get that I-just-gotta-have-some-Mexican-food-right-now craving, then this one will do it for ya. Don't expect glamour. In fact, expect fluorescent lighting. However, the restaurant is owned by a Mexican family and all the staff are Mexican, so it's about as authentic as it gets! And, yes, you can have a margarita too. That's the most important part.
- Cassie's (soon to be Chappie's) Cafe :: Website
Main Street, Roxbury NY 12474
Phone: (607) 326-7020
Roxbury's newest culinary addition! For years locals and our repeat guests alike have gone to Cassies for their great hot breakfast spreads and consistent hearty lunches. Now under new ownership from a jolly good "chap" from across the pond, dinners with a touch of pizzazz have been added to the mix in addition to the breakfasts and lunches! And we must say, we are hearing raves! They are expecting their full liquor license by midsummer 2019, but don't let that stop you from trying them out for dinner while staying with us. Have a glass of wine or cocktail in your room before you head out. You can't beat the location just a block away! Cheerio and ta ta and all that rot!

Ask any local about the best place to go for classic Italian dishes and this will be the first word out of their mouth without hesitation. Nothing fancy about the interior and if you’re looking for an extensive wine list this may not be the place, but OH the homemade sauces! And the garlic knots? TDF!

- Peekamoose Restaurant and Tap Room :: Website
Rt. 28, Big Indian, NY
Phone: (845) 254-6500
The much-awaited reopening of one of the largest restaurants in the Catskills was well worth the wait. With a chef who honed his skills at Manhattan heavy-hitters like Gramercy Tavern and Le Bernadin, you can't hardly go wrong. And you don't. And it's got a wonderfully creative dining area to boot. And it's only 30 minutes from The Roxbury. And... Highly recommended. If you have to limit your dining choices to only one place during your stay with us, this would be the place. Can you tell we love it?

When they say farm-to-table they literally MEAN their farm! Grass-fed lamb, goat, pork, beef, poultry, rabbits and eggs and goat milk products are all raised and made on their family farm located in a lush, quiet valley of the Catskills about 35 minutes from The Roxbury. A really fun experience to be on the actual farm where all the products for your dinner are raised and grown and served by the same hands that provide the TLC. 55 Redden Lane, Andes, NY 13731
Go for the truly beautifully designed Catskills-rustic-chic interiors and truly tasty locally made cider choices and some fun bar food, but not the place if you want a full dinner. We love to go and get soup and a charcuterie plate and a flight of choices from the year’s best then decide on what bottle to bring home.
- The Zephyr :: Website
302 Main St. Pine Hill NY 12465
Last on our list because it starts with a "z," but certainly by no means the least! One of the newer additions to the Catskills dining scene, The Zephyr Restaurant focuses on serving the freshest local sustainable farm to table foods that have been grown naturally in the Catskills area. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offer great vegan and vegetarian options. We were very impressed at our first visit – a great bar scene as well. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and are about a 17-20 minute drive away. Breakfast & Lunch Friday-Sunday 8am to 2pm Dinner Thursday-Monday 4pm to 9pm.
